A book group with a twist . Group leader Trevor Shurmer

Rather than discuss a set work, members will bring along their thoughts and ideas on agreed topics, from favourite books, to should we have censorship of books?

Have you ever read a book and wanted the world to share your enjoyment?
Ever counted the days until your author’s next book is released?
Are libraries and bookshops your happy place?  Or maybe you’ve never read for pleasure but are curious as to what the attraction is?

Then come to the Coach House, Carlton Colville between 10.00 and midday on the first Wednesday of each month. We also ask for a voluntary contribution of a £1 per session.

We meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month and each session begins with members discussing the following :

  • What am I reading at present
  • I’ve read this and so must you
  • A group discussion on the topic of the month (chosen by the group as a whole)
